I’m getting all this blowback from people telling me that Bob Dylan and Neil Young are not the only rock stars left.

They’re above the rest, outside the norm, they’re laughing at convention, they’re doing it their way. It’s part of the lifestyle, a rock star can do whatever he or she wants. And a rock star has so much money that money is irrelevant, they’ve got money to burn. Even funnier, the supposed “rock stars” want to be bankers, mostly investors/venture capitalists, they want the same money, even though that door is closed, they can never get that much.Ī rock star is not in it for the money. That’s how far we’ve come, a term that meant something has been bastardized to the point that few know the original definition. A banker, a techie, can never be a rock star.
